Council 867—Lancaster, PA
This September and October,
please help a child feel loved—a child who might otherwise get nothing for Christmas!
TAKE A BOX OF JOY during September/October.
FILL THE BOX—
(Boxes go to warm climates so cold weather items are not useful. Nor are toy guns, choking hazard items or things that could melt, such as chocolate.)

Gift Ideas, Notes and Considerations—
all the details of what and what not to include plus instructions.
INDICATE if your gift is meant for a boy or girl and approximate age group.
Each child who receives a Box of Joy also receives a Rosary and a booklet in his or her own language that tells The Story of Jesus, making every gift a tangible expression of Christ's love.
RETURN THE BOX when filled—
If needed, secure the box with a single rubber band, not tape.
Include a check or cash of $9 per box for shipping and materials. Checks can be made out to Cross Catholic Outreach.
BOXES COLLECTED by Knights of Columbus—Throughout October, Knights will be collecting boxes as they are returned. Knights hope to have ALL boxes collected by the weekend of October 10/11.
Cross Catholic Outreach will distribute the boxes to impoverished children living in third world countries—children who have never received a Christmas gift.
Thank you for your generosity with the Box of Joy project, 2026.
Box of Joy is a ministry of Cross Catholic Outreach. Knights of Columbus Council 867 partners with Cross Catholic Outreach to help make Christmas for these children a little brighter and more blessed. (Hopefully, yours and ours will be too!)
