About Council 867

Chartered in 1904, and now one of 16,000 Knights of Columbus councils that make up the largest Catholic Family Fraternal Organization in the world, Council 867  is proud to serve within the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities.

A Star Council for the past three years, 867 is honored to support four Catholic parishes within the boundaries of the City of Lancaster—

• SACRED HEART OF JESUS

• ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA

• ST. JOSEPH and

• ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY—HISTORIC ST. MARY'S

       

​Beyond supporting local parishes, 867 also contributes to the efforts of other charitable causes including —

• The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA

• Wreaths Across America

• Youth programs

• Local pregnancy center

• Support of priesthood and seminarians through Ramey fund

• Coats for Kids, and now adults

• Community Meals

• Special Olympics

• Livestream of the Mass from Historic St. Mary's

Many are the needs! We are grateful for the Knights and families who volunteer with our fundraisers and projects, but we can always use an extra hand. To name a few:

• BINGO on Thursday nights—Our primary fundraiser, Bingo proceeds support all of our council's charities and activities. Volunteering one or two hours per week or month would help a great deal. 

• Wreaths Across America—Place a Remembrance wreath on Saturday, December 19, 2026

• Community Meals—Only three times a year, please join us and help us, as we help St. Mary's and we all help those most in need.
